Storepro was recently engaged to design, procure, manufacture and build an R.M. Williams store for the Essendon DFO. The project involved developing a design that reflected the brand identity, and didn’t compromise on quality when compared to their other premium stores. The design/time/cost solution we presented included repurposing recycled materials, and the the use of textured paint.
To deliver the store within the budget, scope and time expectations, Storepro manufactured a number of custom fixtures for the space, that ensured consistency across all the R.M. Williams stores. A lay flay table made with recycled floor boards and leftover material now houses the brand’s premium leather footwear, while a credenza and rear POS wall feature give an instant connection to the brand’s current store concept
The shopfront plinths, POS counter, shopfront feature walls and signage were also manufactured in-house by Storepro, and assistance was given with additional branding in several locations around store.
As project manager, Storepro ensured the design was documented and approved by the centre prior to the build, ensuring the whole process ran seamlessly for R.M. Williams.
